Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Matthew 9:37-38

Team Hope Street Evangelism

We're glad that our great God has brought you here, either to come to know Him, or to become better equipped to share the gospel with others.

If you're not sure where you are going to spend eternity, then please read this message first.

Evangelism – sharing the hope that is within us, isn’t an exclusive job for those called to be ‘Evangelists’. Jesus commissioned all Christians to share their faith (Matthew 28:18-19). The fact that Jesus would use us to be His feet is an honor and a privilege that we should not waste. We are living testimonies to God’s grace and He gave us all an unlimited amount of “Tickets to Heaven” to give out to everyone in our lives.

Every day we will all come into contact with many people who have never heard about the love Jesus expressed for us on the cross, people we may never see again. Each encounter is a chance to invite someone to live with God in paradise!

The word used for repent here is the Hebrew word snoob. It is also translated turn or return in other verses in the King James or New King James translations of the Bible. It means to turn back or turn away. Remember, the disciples were Jews and had a Jewish understanding of repentance. [continue reading]
